On Sunday, June 5th, the 2022 9U Lakeshore Whitecaps won the St. Thomas Cardinal Classic defeating the Niagara Falls Falcons 22-7 in the championship game. 

"The boys came together at the right time to pull this off! We were down by a few runs in the 6th inning to a tough Sarnia team in the semifinal but managed to score 7 in the top of the 7th, then shut the door in the bottom of the inning. Every player contributed to this win! Truly a full team effort!"
