FAQ regarding NRP, Releases & Import Caps

  1. Sunparlour has an import restriction for the 2024 season.

The import caps are by division as follows:
    8/9U - No Imports Allowed
    10/11U - 2 imports
    12/13U - 3 imports
    14/15U - 5 imports
    16U+ - Unlimited

  2. Players from other local associations that are "not offered a position" on their local Rep team DO NOT count toward the import cap for any other team they wish to try out for.

  3. Players from other local associations that do not have a rep team at their age division DO NOT count toward the import cap for any other team they wish to try out for.  A mixed team in their local association counts as a Rep team they could play for (i.e. 12u/13u)

  4. Legacies - A player who has played a minimum of three (3) consecutive seasons in a Local program (House League/Select/Rep) other than the local association in which he/she resides, is considered a legacy player and, therefore, does not count toward the team import cap.
  5. WOBA players require 2 releases
